HEY, FABULOUS FIBER FRIENDS!!
The Northeast is finally cooling off from the intense summer heat and I’m definitely ready for some falling leaves, crisp Autumn air, fiber festivals, handmade sweaters, warm beverages and knitting by the fire!

When an unexpected life change knocked the wind out of my sails, I put down my hooks and needles, not really knowing when I would pick them up again. . .
Then, the most beautiful of happenings put them back into my hands. My baby twin cousin gave birth to adorable twins, a boy and a girl!! There was no way I wasn’t gonna wrap these two little munchkins in my love. After what felt like forever, I was finally inspired to create something again. I used some stash that I had remaining from a previous design and happily whipped up two versions of this blanket! I hope you delight in its simplicity and rhythm, and it helps you to wrap someone you care about in your love! Enjoy!

Our first community zoom is scheduled for Sunday, October 1st at 7:00pm ET and will celebrate all things MY BIRTHDAY! Hellooo Libra season! Though my actual birthday is the 23rd of September, I share that day with my youngest son and want to give him my full attention, which I’m sure you can understand. Prepare for an hour full of fiber, creativity and laughter, as we introduce ourselves and showcase what’s in the works for Fall here at VRK! The festivities will be co-hosted by VanRey Knits newest addition, Dani, AKA GemmaDarling, who will be monitoring the chat and sharing all your great comments and ideas!
